What to expect
Video game VO Director Erick Cifuentes is back with a longer class! We discovered with his first class that one week is not enough time to get everything in. So Eric is coming back for a longer class with fewer students. to accomodate everone getting a chance to read and to work more in-depth on creating believable characters.
Erick will teach the best techniques for approaching voiceover in gaming and you'll get to know how they apply to different genres of games, how to develop unique characters as well as techniques to best use your voice for efforts, emotes, and combat/death reactions. Communication skills during a recording session are invaluable, so you'll learn how to best interact with directors and clients during a session, interpret notes, and make accurate adjustments. Erick will also cover analyzing audition copy and crafting engaging performances that will capture the attention of casting directors.
